HELLO 2022
Hello 2022,
Can you believe we are already in 2022. It seems like we just entered 2020. What happened to those last two years? We’ll…we know, but really…what happened? Im interested to know how 2022 has begun for you. It seemed like I entered 2022 slowly. The last quarter of 2021 speed by in a whirl wind of happenings one of which included catching the RONA on my birthday. Many of the things I like to have completed before the new year were placed on hold. I didn’t flesh out my goals, choose a new planner, make my vision board. I entered into the new year unprepared to hit the ground running, instead I was forced to slow down and recover. All I had the brain power and energy to do was sleep, drink tea, watch youtube videos and binge netflix. The brain fog was real. It’s almost mid January and I just fleshed out some goals, and honed in on my top 5-7 for the year.
Being out of commission for the last three weeks has created a much needed reset for the new year. What usually happens is the year ends in a whirl wind of happenings, and I begin the next year in a frenzy of goals and dreams trying to make up for what I didn’t do the year before. I was moving in the spirit of more….just do more. I wasn’t intentional or focused on the end goal. The down time from the last three weeks forced me to take my time this year and be intentional about how I want to show, what I want to create, and where I want to end 2022. When I approached the year this way I have noticed that I have been able to take intentional steps instead of doing more just to say I’ve done it.
Here’s five things the reset taught me.

- If you don’t have health nothing else matters.
- Goals should follow a specific vision
- Progress is more important than perfection
- Taking breaks continuing the momentum
- Focusing one thing at a propels you forward
